To support, encourage and promote research, application and teaching activities in Physics in Colombia.
Vision
Acolfísica brings together professionals and students of Physics and related areas in Colombia with the aim of promoting the appreciation, use and dissemination of the work of researchers in Physical Sciences in areas relevant to the development of the country.
Our objectives

To protect the freedom of teaching and research, and the interests and rights of physicists, teachers, and researchers in Physics.

To promote the prestige of the physical sciences in Colombia.

To encourage the improvement of Physics education at all levels.

To encourage and promote the dissemination of science and knowledge in Physics.

To foster and promote the participation of women in Physics and reduce the gender gap observed especially in this discipline.

We want to maintain contact and establish alliances with institutes, associations, and societies of physics and related sciences, in Colombia and abroad, and foster and promote exchanges between Colombian and international professionals in the field of Physics.
